STUDEO VANCOUVER COVID-19 PROTOCOLS & NEW POLOCIES

FACILITIES THAT ARE CLOSED OR UNAVAILABLE:

  • Showers & Lockets will be closed until further notice
  • Fresh Shakes will not be available until further notice (pre-made grab and go drinks will be available)
  • Water Bottles Service will no longer be offered (bottled water will be sold, or you can bring your own)
  • Water bottle fill stations will be closed until further notice

FACILITY ENTRY

  • STUDEO VANCOUVER COVID-19 WAIVER, MEMBER RULES AND HEALTH DECLARATION Form must be completed by any person entering (Staff or Guest). (see appendix A)
    All club entry and exit will happen by the main doors located at 847 Hornby.  There will be no access through 865 Hornby.
  • If a member requires access with use of an elevator rather than the stairs, they must provide a minimum of 15 minutes notice between 5:30 and 8:30pm. Please call 604-684-0544 our team will meet you and escort you into the facility.
  • All members will sanitize their shoes on the sanitation mat prior to entering the facility.
  • All members will sanitize their hands at the top of the stairs prior to entering the facility.
  • All members must pass a temperature and health assessment prior to being granted access to the facility.

GENERAL

  • Physical distancing will be observed by all members and staff at all times (6 feet or 2 meters)
  • All equipment used in any training session must be cleaned by the participant who used the item. There will be a cleaning station within a few steps of any part of the facility.
  • Do not approach staff or violate the required physical distancing of 6 feet or 2 meters.
  • Club access is not permitted for members who are in self isolation as a result of travel on mass transit from outside the Lower Mainland (7 days), international travel (14 days), or for anyone who has been exposed to a known or potential case of COVID-19 (14 days).
  • Do not come to the Gym if you are sick or feeling unwell, please contact 811 and speak to a Public Health Nurse for advice.
  • No congregating anywhere on site or during or after your workout.

FACILITY EXIT

  • Members will exit the facility only via the Hornby Street doors unless there is an emergency.  In that case emergency exits are to be used.
  • Members will exit the facility immediately after their workout or appointment.
  • No congregating anywhere on site or after your workout.

CLEANING

  • Addition of an electrostatic sanitation spray process on a regular basis.  This process eliminates viruses and bacteria throughout the facility. The cleaning agent VitalOxide (Appendix C)is being used.
  • Additional cleaning personnel has been added to our staffing model for increased equipment and facility cleaning.
  • Additional hourly cleaning of high tough items (door handles, taps, hand rails) with medical grade cleaning agent Oxivir Plus (Appendix D).
  • New sanitation stations have been placed throughout the facility that include sanitation wipes, hand sanitizer, medical grade cleaning solutions (Oxivir Plus) and clean towels for single use clean up.
  • Addition of rotating room closures for daytime cleaning in addition to our regular nightly janitorial services.
